Beef cartilage is skin and muscle of leg of cow. You can procces to become soup. So yummy, boil with potato and add vermicelli, hot chili sauce and juice of lime/lemon. Get when hot.
- 700 grs beef cartilage.
- 1 tsp ground coriander.
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin.
- 1 medium onion.
- 3 cloves garlic.
- 2 cms ginger.
- 4 cms cinnamon.
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper.
- 3 1/2 tsp salt.
- 1 stalks leeks, thinly sliced.
- 3 stalks celery, thinly sliced.
- 2 bay leaves.
- Vermicelli as needed.
- 2 potatoes, cut 8 pieces.
Instruction :
- Boil beef cartilage, salt, coriander, cumin with the pressure cooker until tender.
- Blend onion, garlic, ginger.
- Saute onion, garlic, bay leaves and cinnamon until fragrant.
- Add nutmeg, pepper, saute a few minutes.
- Pour into boiling kikil.
- Cook until spicy absorb for 30 minutes.
- Add potatoes stir until blended and boil until tender.
- Ready to be served with vermicelli, and sprinkle with chopped leek and celery.
