Chocolate Layer Cake

My granny recipe from old recipebook. Originated the cake from Sambas, district city of Pontianak (West Kalimantan -Indonesia). We made with egg, cocoa, butter, condensed milk and sugar. You can roast the cacao before use or without. But, for taste better roasted, more fragrant and dark.


Ingredients :
  • 25 yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 400 grs melted butter
  • 300 grs sugar
  • 50 grs cacao, roasted or not
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp spekuk powder
Instruction :
  1. Mixer eggs and sugar with high spedd until thick and fluffy. 
  2. Add cacao, vanilla and condensed milk while strirring gently until well blended.
  3. Melt butter and let it cool.
  4. Prepare tray has been covered with baking paper.
  5. Preheat oven 200°C.
  6. And bake layer of layer. Every layer 100 grs the dough and 1 tbsp melt butter.
  7. Do it until the dough finish.

  1. Maaf mau tanyakalau mentega cair yg didinginkan itu dicampur aduk rata dengan lapisan tiap 100 gram di wadah yg berbeda mksudnya?

    1. Begini, adonan 100 gr itu dimasukkan ke dalam cangkir atau gelas. Lalu ditambahkan mentega cair dan diaduk rata. Baru tuang ke dalam loyang. dan panggang.
