The cake originally from Sambas District - West Kalimantan. Many kinds of moist cake fron the northen coast of West Kalimantan if we dig. One of them is Prancis Cake or Soap Cake. The cake is like pudding. Only shaken with a whisk hand after that it is steamed until cooked and the baked for a while to get the yellow on the surface of the cake. But I am lazy to do twice process, so I immediately put into oven with au bain marie system.
- 10 whole eggs.
- 1 tsp butter, room temperature.
- 250 gr sugar.
- 1/4 tsp vanilla powder.
- 1 tbsp flour, flat.
- 1/2 canned sweet condensed milk.
- Butter to smear baking pan.
Instruction :
- Preheat oven 160°C.
- Whisk eggs, sugar until foamy with whisk hand. No fluffy.
- Mix sweet condensed milk with butter and mix well.
- Add flour into condensed milk, mix well.
- Add mixture of condensed milk into batter and mix well.
- Smear the baking pan (10 x 20 cm) with butter. Pour the batter into baking pan and bake with au bain marie system until well done.
- After well done let cool in room temperature then put in refrigerator. Mure yummy served cold.
