Bangla Achar with Chaat Masala / Pickle Homemade

Bangladesh Achar, my favorite pickle. Sour, sweet and spicy. I made 3 kinds of achar with same spice mix is chaat masala.









Ingredients :
  • 2 tsp chaat masala (cimin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, dried red chili, clove).
  • 300 gr tamarind or 2 peaches,  thraw seeds or 2 mangoes half ripe.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Sugar to taste.
  • Chili powder to taste.
  • 1 tbsp lime juice.
  • 1 cup water.
Instruction :
  1. Mix all of ingredients, except lime juice into fry pan.
  2. While stirring occasionally until mix well with medium flame until water dries up.
  3. Taste the achar, if still acid then add the lime juice. Stir until mix well.
  4. Turn off the flame and let cool in room temperature. Transfet to small jar and store into refrigerator.
