Bangladesh Achar, my favorite pickle. Sour, sweet and spicy. I made 3 kinds of achar with same spice mix is chaat masala.
- 2 tsp chaat masala (cimin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, dried red chili, clove).
- 300 gr tamarind or 2 peaches, thraw seeds or 2 mangoes half ripe.
- Salt to taste.
- Sugar to taste.
- Chili powder to taste.
- 1 tbsp lime juice.
- 1 cup water.
Instruction :
- Mix all of ingredients, except lime juice into fry pan.
- While stirring occasionally until mix well with medium flame until water dries up.
- Taste the achar, if still acid then add the lime juice. Stir until mix well.
- Turn off the flame and let cool in room temperature. Transfet to small jar and store into refrigerator.
