
Kaastengel is Indonesia Cookies adopted from Dutch. The cookies so creamy, savory and crispy. Because made of cheese. To make taste more savory and creamy better add edam cheese.
- 150 grs flour
- 25 grs maizena.
- 125 grs butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 yolks
- 125 grs grated edam cheese.
- 1/4 tsp baking powder.
- 1 yolk for spread up.
- 50 grs grated cheddar cheese for sprinkle.
- Whisk butter until smooth and soft.
- Add yolk, one by one while whisk until blended.
- Add flour, maizena, salt, grated edam, baking powder.
- Knead until smooth and not sticky in the hands.
- Milled the dough and print as you like.
- Put on the tray and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
- Bake until golden brown with temperature 180°C.
