Urap (Indonesia Salad)

Vegetables is simple, but rich is fiber and nutrients, because many kind of vegetables is good for disgetion. If Western has Salad, so we (Indonesia) have Urap as Indonesin's Salad). We mix with many kind of vegetables such as sproutn, kangkung, spinach, long beans. I made with vegetables what I found in the refrigerator such as green bean, carrots, zucchine, ruccoli and cabbage.



Ingredients :
  • 200 grs grated coconut.
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed.
  • 1 carrot, cut match stick.
  • 3 pieces long bean, cut  3 cm.
  • 1 bunch water spinach.
  • 50 gr thinly sliced cabagge.
  • 1/2 tsp ground greater galingale.
  • Salt is required.
  • Tamarind juice is required.
  • Little sugar and red chili with shrimp paste.
Instruction :
  1. Boiled long bean and water spinach until tender.
  2. After vegetables are tender, remove from pan and drained.
  3. Heat fry pan, pour grated coconut, garlic, salt, greater galingale, sugar and tamarind juice.
  4. Saute until water dries up.
  5. Mix all of vegetables into grated coconut until mixture.
  6. Ready to be served,
