Bengali Chicken Korma

Hi guys, long time I didn't up date my blog. Busy, because I moved from Italy to England. After I am little bit lazy to start posting on my blog. Today, I try to share with you all about Bengali Food (Chicken Korma). Easy and simple, from masala or spices until how to cook. Come on, try to cook for your lunch or dinner.


Ingredients :
  • 1 medium chicken, cut 8 - 10 pieces..
  • 1/2 cup oil.
  • 1 large size onion, chopped.
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated.
  • 4 - 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
  • 1 tsp ground coriander.
  • 4 cardamoms, take seeds.
  • 3 cinnamon stick.
  • 3 tbsp plain yogurt.
  • 1 cup fresh milk.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice.
  • Sugar and salt to taste.
Instruction :
  1. Clean chicken.
  2. Heat oil, and add onion, Fry with low flame until onion brown, soft and liquid.
  3. Add the chicken, ginger, garlic, coriander, cinnamon and cardamoms. Stir fry until the chicken is white.
  4. Add yogurt and milk, stir until combine evenly with spices and chicken. Cooked for 10 - 15 minutes with low flame.
  5. Add sugar and lemon juice. Stir until combine evenly and cook until oil starts to separates.
  6. Served hot with rutti, paratha or rice.
