Martabak Pie

I called "Martabak Pie", because for ingredients is almost Egg Martabak, but shape as pie. Good for lunch box, breakfast or snack.









Ingredients :
  • 300 gr all purpose flour.
  • 1 whole egg.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • Boiled water is required.
  • Butter is required.
  • 1 carrot, shredded.
  • 1 big potato, shredded.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder.
  • Spring onion, thinly sliced.
  • 2 whole eggs.
  • 1 cup fresh milk.
Intruction :
  1. Mix flour, egg, salt and boil water. Knead until smooth. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix carrot, potato, spring onion, chili powder and salt. Stir until combine evenly.
  3. Mill the dough with rolling pin with thick 1 cm. Spread some pinch of butter on half part of the dough and fold.
  4. Mill again 1 cm and fold. Repeat once again and last, milled until until thin.
  5. Cut the dough is square and put into pie mould or muffin mould.
  6. Mix egg and milk, whisk until combine evenly.
  7. Take 1 - 2 tbsp of vegetable shredded and put onto dough. Pour the egg.
  8. Heat oven 180°C.
  9. Bake until golden brown and oil is dried.
  10. Served with ketchup and mayonaisse.
