Anchovy Green Chili

One of green chili paste Minangese - West Sumatera. If we go to Padang Restaurant, they will serve us foods with green chili paste. I prepared the green chili paste with anchovy.







Ingredients :
  • 250 gr green cayenne chilies.
  • 2 cloves garlics.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 tbsp sugar.
  • 50 gr dried anchovy.
  • Vegetable oil as needed.
Instruction :
  1. Heat oil, sautè cayenne chilies and garlic until wilt and garlics got spot.
  2. Mash chilies and garlic that have withered until destroyed.
  3. With oil after fried chilies and garlic, fry anchovy until brownish.
  4. Mix cayenne and anchovy and stir until combine evenly.
  5. Add salt and sugar, stir until combine evenly. Taste for salt is enough or not.
  6. Turn off flame and let cool.
