Sticky Rice Balls wrapped Roasted Coconut From Jakarta

Traditional snack from Jakarta, special from Betawi Clan is Sticky Rice Balls Wrapped Roasted Coconut, The first I ate it, when I visited my eldest sister in Jakarta. Because she lived Betawi Clan area. So easy to found on the small stall near house.




Ingredients :
  • 100 gr sticky rice.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • Water as needed.
  • Hot Serundeng (Hot Roasted Coconut)
Instruction :
  1. Cook sticky rice and salt with water until a knuckle of index finger.
  2. Cook until rice half cook and water dries up.
  3. Steam rice until well done and let stand until cool.
  4. Take a tablespoon of sticky rice and shape small ball, roll over serundeng.
  5. Ready to be served.
