I have dates, not less than half until now. But my kids don't like dates because hard peel. Better I made cake with steam system. Easy, quick and simple. No mixer, only with wood ladle to mix all of ingredients.
Ingredients :
- 60 gr dates, diced, washed and drained.
- 75 gr butter, melted.
- 100 gr all purpose flour.
- 75 gr sugar.
- 3 eggs.
- 1/4 tsp salt.
- 1 tsp baking powder.
- Vanilla as needed.

- Stir all of ingredients with wood ladle until combine evenly, except butter and dates.
- Add melt butter and stir until combine evenly.
- Add dates and stir until combine evenly.
- Pour into the muffin mold (I use the silicone mold so no need cup paper or spread butter).
- Put into steam pan for 30 minutes with medium fire until mature.
- Ready to be served as snack in the afternoon.
