If the big one, they call Crostata, while the small one they call Crostatina. Now, I make the small crostata (crostatine). I have cerry jam in my freeze, better I make crostatine with stuffing cerry jam. For my kids, I make crostatine with stuffing nutella. Crispy and yummy.
Ingredients :
- 350 gr all purpose flour.
- 25 gr castor sugar.
- 125 gr butter / margarine cold from freezer, cut small cubed.
- Salt is required.
- 1 grated lemon zest.
- 2 eggs.
- Cerry jam.
- 1 egg for smearing of the surface crostatine.
Instruction :
- Mix all purpose flour, sugar, butter / margarine, salt, grated lemon zest and eggs, knead until smooth.
- Shape around and coated with wrap pax. Put in freezer for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven with temperature 180°C.
- Take the dough and milled until flat and put into moulds of small crostatine.
- Give cerry jam and milled again the dough for topping of crostatine.
- Smear with egg and bake until golden brown or mature.
