I ever cooked Bhuna with beef. Now, I share lamb bhuna. We need extra spices to cook lamb, to reduce smell of lamb we need extra garlic and ground nutmeg.
Ingredients :
- 600gr lamb meat, cut and washed.
- 1 medium size onion, roughly chopped.
- 3 - 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
- 1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste.
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg.
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric.
- 1 tsp ground coriander.
- 1 tsp ground cumin.
- 4 cms cinnamon.
- 6 cloves.
- 4 cardamoms.
- 2 - 3 bay leaves.
- 1 tomato, roughly chopped.
- 1 tsp salt.
- Oil for sauteing.
Instruction :
- Cleaned and washed meat with vinegar and salt, drained.
- Preheat oil on the medium pan, add onion, garlic, garlic and ginger paste, cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves, salt and stir fry until fragrant and onion is soft.
- Add turmeric, coriander,cumin, and nutmeg, stir fry until fragrant.
- Add tomato and stir until liquid.
- Add meat, stir until combine evenly and cook with low flame for 1 1/2 hour - 2 hour or until mature and soup thicks.
- Transfer to serving plate and ready to be served.
