Samosa Sheets Homemade Stuffed Potato Curry

When we visited our friend's house, we had been served samosa filled with potato curry with homemade sheets. So crispy. Before I ever made samosa filled stir fry vegetables with spring roll sheets. And today, I just tried to make samosa with homemade sheets. The sheest is such pastel sheets.

Ingredients :
  • 250 gr all purpose flour.
  • 50 gr margarine / butter.
  • 30 ml vegetable oil.
  • 80 ml lukewarm water.
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 tsp sugar.
  • Oil for frying.
Ingredients of Stuffing :
  • 3 medium size of potato, peeled and small diced.
  • 1 breast of chicken, small diced.
  • 1/2 medium size onion, finely chopped.
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely choppen.
  • Salt as needed.
  • 1 - 2 green eyes bird chilies (as you like), chopped.
  • Parsley as needed, chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander.
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin.
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric.
  • 1 bay leaf.
  • 3 cm cinnamon.
  • Oil for saute.
Instruction to make Stuffing :
  1. Preheat oil, stir fry onion, garlic, salt until fragrant.
  2. Add coriander, cumin, turmeric, bay leaf, cinnamon, green eyes bird chilies, until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken and potato, stir until combine evenly and stir fry until chicken and potato mature and tender.
  4. Add parsley , stir until combine evenly.
  5. Turn off the flame and set a side.
Instruction to make Samosa Sheets :
  1. While wait for stuffing is cool, we will prepare to make samosa sheets.
  2. Mix flour, salt and sugar. Preheat oil and add margarine / butter until melt and turn off the flame.
  3. Add mixture of oil and margarine / butter into mixture of flour, mix until combine evenly.
  4. Add lukewarm water gradually and knead until smooth and elastic. Set a side for 15 minutes.
  5. Milled the dough with roller pin as thin as possible and round with 14 cm diameter.
  6. After milled round and then halved. Take a half sheet and fold triangle to center and unite the border and fold another side and unite the border but the middle leave it open so can fill the stuffing.
  7. Handheld so that the middle of the open, so fill the stuffing with 1 1/2 tsp stuffing or as needed.
  8. Press the open side to close the dough. Set aside and do the other the dough and stuffing until finish.
  9. Preheat vegetable oil to fry. Fry samosa until golden brown.
  10. Ready to be served with mayonaisse, chili sauce, ketchup.
