My Fuska (Bangladesh Snack)

My version Fuska (Bangladesh Snack) with Semolina Sesame Seed Crackers, boiled chickpeas, tamarind juice, roasted cumin and dried red chili.








Ingredients :
  • Semolina Sesame Seed Crackers as needed.
  • 200 grs dried chick peas, soaked in water for 24 hours.
  • 50 grs tamarind.
  • 500 ml water.
  • 1 tsp dried red chili, roasted and mashed.
  • 1 tsp roasted ground cumin
  • Salt is required.
  • 2 tbsp sugar.
Instruction :
- Prepare chickpeas : boil chickpeas with a pinch of salt until tender. Drained and set aside.







- Prepare crackers for fuska (Semolina Sesame Seed Crackers).  How to make them you can click here. Set aside.







- Prepare Tamarind Juice : boil water, tamarind, sugar and salt until boiled. Strain the boiling tamarind water. Set aside.







- Roast cumin and dried red chili, mashed. Set aside.








- How to serve : put into small serving bowl chick peas. Pour tamarind juice, add crackers, sprinkle with ground cumin and red chili flake. Ready to be served.
