My hubby has taught me how to cook chicken wings bhuna. I love bhuna, it is like our rendang (Minangese Dish). Just a bit different. Spicy flavor of ground black pepper and green cayenne peppers, so excotic.
Ingredients :
- 400 grs chicken wings, cleaned and washed.
- 1 medium size onion, roughly chopped.
- 1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste.
- 1/2 tsp garam masala.
- 1 tsp ground coriander.
- 1 tsp ground cumin.
- 1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper.
- 1 tsp salt.
- 8 green cayenne peppers (you can reduce them if you don't like).
- 1 big size tomato, roughly chopped.
- 2 bay leaves.
- 4 cm cinnamon stick.
- 5 cloves.
- 4 cardamoms.
- Oil for sauteing.
Instruction :
- Saute onion, garlic and ginger paste, green cayenne peppers and salt until fragrant.
- Add garam masala, coriander, cumin, salt, ground black pepper, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms until fragrant.
- Add chopped tomato, stir until melt.
- Add chicken wings and stir until combine evenly. Cook until mature and dried up.
- Ready to be served as side dish with hot white rice.
