Lunch, I cooked Polao (Biryani Vegetables). It is the first time, I cooked. Before, I always cooked biryani with beef curry or lamb curry. Today, I have tried how to cooked with some vegetables. Healthy and Vegan Dish.
- 500 grs basmati rice.
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced.
- 3 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped.
- 1 carrot, diced.
- 1 zucchine, diced.
- 2 - 3 small cauliflower, cut small.
- 100 grs peas.
- 3 tbsp ghee.
- 4 cms cinnamon.
- 2 bay leaves.
- 1 tbsp salt.
- Water is required.
- Wash rice and drain.
- Put pan on the flame and melted ghee to saute.
- Put onion, garlic, cinnamon, bay leaves and salt, saute until fragrant.
- Pour rice and stir fry until yellowish.
- Add water and boil half cooked.
- Add all of vegetables and cook rice and vegetables until cooked.
