Polao Rice

Lunch, I cooked Polao (Biryani Vegetables). It is the first time, I cooked. Before, I always cooked biryani with beef curry or lamb curry. Today, I have tried how to cooked with some vegetables. Healthy and Vegan Dish.





Ingredients :
  • 500 grs basmati rice.
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced.
  • 3 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped.
  • 1 carrot, diced.
  • 1 zucchine, diced.
  • 2 - 3 small cauliflower, cut small.
  • 100 grs peas.
  • 3 tbsp ghee.
  • 4 cms cinnamon.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 1 tbsp salt.
  • Water is required.
Instruction :
  1. Wash rice and drain.
  2. Put pan on the flame and melted ghee to saute.
  3. Put onion, garlic, cinnamon, bay leaves and salt, saute until fragrant.
  4. Pour rice and stir fry until yellowish.
  5. Add water and boil half cooked.
  6. Add all of vegetables and cook rice and vegetables until cooked.
