My Cake with Theme I Love Indonesia

My birthday cake, but late post. I made with 3 kinds of cake with 3 colors and 3 tastes. For the first layers, I made brownies, second layer is Sponge Cake and last layer is Red Velvet. The cakes have the following meaning, Brownies means my homeland (Indonesia land). Red Velvet and Spong Cake mean my flag (Red and White). So the cake mean Indonesia is my homeland. I Love Indonesia. Anniversary Indonesia 70th.


Ingredients Brownies Cake :
  • 3 eggs.
  • 115 gr sugar.
  • 1/4 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder + vanilla.
  • 65 gr flour.
  • 25 gr cacao powder.
  • 88 gr vegetable oil.
  • 50 gr fondant chocolate.
Instruction :
  1. Whisk egg, sugar and salt until fluffy and thick.
  2. Mix flour, cacao powder, baking powder + vanilla. Add mixture of flour into egg and stir slowly until combine evenly.
  3. Melt fondant chocolate with vegetable oil, pour into batter and stir until combine evenly.
  4. Pour into round baking pan with diameter 18 cm.
  5. Heat the oven 180°C, bake until well done for 25 minutes.
Ingredients of Sponge Cake :
  • 90 gr castor sugar.
  • 3 eggs.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 1 tsp lemon zest.
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder.
  • 90 gr flour (50 gr flour + 40 gr potato starch).
Instruction :
  1. Whisk egg, sugar and salt until fluffy and thick.
  2. Mix flour and baking powder, add mixture of flour into batter and stir until combine evenly.
  3. Add lemon zest and stir until combine evenly.
  4. Pour into round baking pan with diameter 18 cm and bake until well done for 25 minutes.
Ingredients of Red Velvet Cake :
  • 3 eggs.
  • 300 gr castor sugar.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 120 gr butter.
  • 25 gr cacao powder.
  • 1 tsp baking soda.
  • 130 ml buttermilk.
  • 300 gr flour (250 gr flour + 50 gr potato starch).
  • 30 ml red foodcolor.
  • 3 tsp white vinegar.
Instruction :
  1. Whisk egg, sugar and salt until fluffy and thick.
  2. Add butter and stir until combine evenly.
  3. Mix flour, cacao powder and baking soda. Add mixture of flour into batter and stir until combine evenly.
  4. Add buttermilk and stir until combine evenly.
  5. Add red color and stir until combine evenly.
  6. Pour white vinegar and stir until combine evenly.
  7. Pour into round baking pan and bake until well done for 25 minutes.
Ingredients of Butter CreamCheese:
  • 225 g unsalted butter.
  • 75 gr icing sugar, sifted.
  • 2 tbsp condensed milk.
  • 2 tbsp creamcheese.
Instruction :
  1. Whisk butter, icing sugar and condensed milk until soft.
  2. Add creamcheese and stir until combine evenly and ready to use.
Instruction to arrange :
  1. Take the brownies, smeared with butter cream all of surface of cake and put sponge cake. Smeared with butter cream and last put red velvet.
  2. Smeared all of surface the three layers cake with butter cream and decorate as you like.
