Cruchy base, with sweet of apple and strawberry so no need add much sugar. Delicious for tea time or breakfast.
- 300 gr all purpose flour.
- 250 gr butter / margarine in room temperature.
- 1 tbsp zest of lemon.
- 1 tsp salt.
- 2 tbsp castor sugar.
Ingredients of Stuffing :
- 3 apples (fuji), peeled and thinly sliced.
- 8 big strawberries, thinly sliced.
- 2 tbsp honey.
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
- Vanilla essence is required.
Ingredients to spread :
- 1 yolk, lightly beaten.
- Prepare Stuffing : Preheat fry pan, put all of ingredients except strawberries. Stir until combine evenly and apple wilt. Set aside.
- Preheat oven 200°C.
- Prepare Pie : Mix all of ingredients and stir until combine evenly and no sticky.
- Prepare round mould. Devided 2 part of the pie dough, round up and milled until flatten round.
- Transfer to pie mould, arranged until cover all of pie mould.
- Pour stuffing, and arrange strawberry slice on the apple.
- Milled another dough until flatten round. Transfer to mould and cover all of surface of pie.
- Spread all of surface pie with yolk.
- Bake for 25 minutes and golden brown.
