I never bore to eat middle eastern food, specially couscous. I have fish fillet and confuse what kind of food I will cook again. So, I got idea to cook couscous with fish. Before I wanted to prepare siomasy or pempek, but lazy to scrape meat of fish. Then I took decision to cook fish couscous mix with many colour of bell peppers.
Ingredients :
- 250 gr couscous.
- 300 gr fish fillet, cut dice
- 100 gr bell peppers (red, yellow, orange and green).
- Salt to taste.
- 2 tbsp ghee.
- 1 red onion, roughly chopped.
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
- Broth is required.
Instruction :
- Preheat ghee until melt, fry fish just pale. Set aside.
- Sautè red onion, garlic and salt after fry fish until fragrant and wilt.
- Add paprika, stir until wilt.
- Add couscous and stir until combine evenly, then add fried fish. Mix until combine evenly.
- Pour broth as needed, do not forget to taste the softeness of couscous. If still hard, add again broth or soft no need add broth again.
- Cover and turn so low fire, and cook for 10 minutes or water dries up.
- Served warm with salad and other side dish
