Bake Beef Couscous with Bell Pepper Pots

I love couscous. How many times I have shared my couscous. If not wrong, it is 4th . The first is Shrimps and Vegetable Couscous, second is Beef Couscous with Kebuli Spices, third is Chicken Couscous with Dark Curry Spices. And now is forth.

Ingredients :
  • 250 gr couscous.
  • 300 ml broth.
  • 500 gr beef, thinly sliced.
  • 1 medium size onion, finely chopped.
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
  • 2 cm ginger, shredded.
  • 1 tsp ground coriander.
  • 1 tsp ground cumin.
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg.
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon.
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper.
  • 1 tsp salt (to taste).
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 3 cardamoms
  • 5 cloves.
  • 2 green cayenne chilies, halved.
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt.
  • 2 tbsp ghee.
  • Bell peppers : red, yellow and green, cut little to diced.
Instruction :
  1. Preheat pan with ghee until melt, add onion, garlic and ginger. Sautè until fragrant.
  2. Add coriander, cumin, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, salt, bay leaves, cardamoms, cloves and cayenne peppers. Sautè until fragrant and wilt.
  3. Add beef and stir until combine evenlya with spices and cook until bit pale, add yogurt and 100 ml broth. Mix until combine evenly and cook until tender, water dries up and thick.
  4. Add coucous, bell peppers, stir until combine evenly with spices and meat.
  5. Add 200 ml broth and stir until combine evenly.
  6. Cook with low heat for 15 mintes while stirring occasionally so that no burn.
  7. Preheat oven, prepared the bell peppers as pot.
  8. Turn of the heat and after the couscous well done. Fill the bell perpper pots with the couscous. Bake for 20 minutes. ready to be served for lunch or dinner.
  9. Ready to be served.
