Bought the pumpkin. Has cooked appetizer and dessert. Now the pumpkin is cooked as a side dish with Bangladeshi style. Of course I cooked curry. Turns out, the delicious pumpkin curry. Let's check the recipe, as an alternative if you have a lot extra pumpkin.
- 500 gr pumpkin, peeled, washed and cut into pieces.
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced.
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
- 3 green chili, halved.
- 1 medium tomato, roughly chopped.
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander.
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin.
- A pinch of ground turmeric, just for color.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 3 cm cinnamon.
- Salt to taste.
- Oil for sauteing.
Instruction :
- Preheat oil and saute onion until soft and reddish with medium heat. Stirring occasionally.
- Add the garlic and green chili, stir until fragrant.
- Add the coriander, cumin, turmeric, bay leaf, cinnamon and salt. Stir until fragrant.
- Add the tomato and stir until tomato melt.
- Add the pumpkin and cook until the pumpkin cooked over the medium heat tends to be small.
- Ready to be seved as a side dish.
