Pumpkin Curry


Bought the pumpkin. Has cooked appetizer and dessert. Now the pumpkin is cooked as a side dish with Bangladeshi style. Of course I cooked curry. Turns out, the delicious pumpkin curry. Let's check the recipe, as an alternative if you have a lot extra pumpkin.




Ingredients :
  • 500 gr pumpkin, peeled, washed and cut into pieces.
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced.
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
  • 3 green chili, halved.
  • 1 medium tomato, roughly chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander.
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin.
  • A pinch of ground turmeric, just for color.
  • 1 bay leaf.
  • 3 cm cinnamon.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Oil for sauteing.
Instruction :
  1. Preheat oil and saute onion until soft and reddish with medium heat. Stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the garlic and green chili, stir until fragrant.
  3. Add the coriander, cumin, turmeric, bay leaf, cinnamon and salt. Stir until fragrant.
  4. Add the tomato and stir until tomato melt.
  5. Add the pumpkin and cook until the pumpkin cooked over the medium heat tends to be small.
  6. Ready to be seved as a side dish.
