Sweet Potato Pudding


Sweet Potato is always good taste if we make some cake or snack. You can be steamed, roasted or fried. You either can eat it fresh as mixture with peanut sauce. At this time, I made the pudding with main ingredient sweet potato.





Ingredients :
  • 1 kg sweet potato and diced, soaked into salty water.
  • 100 gr sugar.
  • 1/2 tbsp maizena.
  • 100 ml fresh milk.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 1 pandan leaf, cut and binded.
  • Topping : Raisins, almond, pistachio, chopped.
Instruction :
  1. Boil sweet potato and pandan leaf until half thick, and reduce 2/3 boil water of sweet potato.
  2. Add sugar and salt, stir until combine evenly and sweet and savory into the sweet potato.
  3. Stir maizena with little fresh milk, no clot. Mix with all of fresh milk.
  4. Pour the maizena and fresh milk into sweet potato. Cook until mature and tender.
  5. Pour into aluminium cup and sprinkle with topping. Let it cool into room temperature.
