Seblak Bandung


It is a dish from West Java specially from Bandung. Eat it when afternoon. Seblak is made of crackers that have not been fried. Stir fried with some spices and spicy. 






Ingredients :
  • 200 gr crackers have not been fried.
  • Water as needed to boil the crackers. If your crackers are thin, no need boiled. But my crackers is thick. Need time to be soft.
  • Vegetable oil for saute spices.
Ingredients of spices mix :
  • 1 medium size onion. roughly chopped.
  • 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped.
  • 6 red bird eyes chilies.
  • 1/2 tsp ground galingale.
  • Salt is required.
Instruction :
  1. Boiled water, boiled the crackers until tender and drained.
  2. Preheat oil, stir fry the spices until fragrant, pour little water and add salt, stir until combine evenly.
  3. Add the boiled crackers, stir until combine evenly and water dries up.
  4. Ready to be served when hot.
Note :
If you use thin crackers. No need boiled. You can add when you saute the spices and add little bit more water.
