Dhal Peas Soup

There is already dhal soup recipe which it is very watery. Because my husband like so much. He said if soup should be a lot of water, not thick. But I like slightly thick. Now I share dhal soup with peas. For dhal soup can be added with many kind such as carrot or potato. But if added potato will be thick.

Ingredients :
  • 3 fullhands dhal.
  • 1/2 medium size onion, finely chopped.
  • 3 green cayenne chilies, halved.
  • 1 medium size tomato, finely chopped.
  • 100 gr peas.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil for saute.
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped.
  • Coriander leaves as neede, finely chopped.
Instruction :
  1. Washed dhal, boiled with onion, green cayenne chilies, tomato with 300 ml water until smooth and liquid such porridge, while stir with whisk hand.
  2. After smooth, add water and boil until boiled. Add peas and salt, boiled until tender.
  3. Stir fry garlic until golden brown, pour into the dhal soup. Turn off the flame.
  4. Sprinkle with coriander leaf and ready to be served.
