Special Fried Cap Cay

Capcay, Hokkien dialect means a variety of vegetables.Capcay is a dish with variety of vegetables typical of the Chinese community that very popular. Usually vegetables are cooked to capcay such chicory, mustard greens, carrots, baby corn, champignon mushroom, oyster mushrooms, cauliflower, peas, beans, cabbage, broccoli. You can add slices of meatm meatballs, prawns, squids, quail eggs, chicken, ... etc.


Ingredients :
  • 1/2 medium onion, roughly chopped.
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped.
  • 3 green cayenne pepper, cut 1 cm.
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce.
  • 1 tbsp butter for sauteing spices.
  • Salt is required.
  • 2 tsp cornstarch, mix with 50 ml water.
  • Cauliflower is required.
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced.
  • 1/2 zucchine, thinly sliced.
  • 1/4 green cabbage, thinly sliced.
  • 4-5 meatballs, thinly sliced.
  • Oyster mushrooms is required, thinly sliced.
  • Champignon mushrooms is required, thinly sliced.
  • 500 ml water.
Instruction :
  1. Heat frying pan and melt butter. Stir fry onion, garlic, green cayenne peppers, and salt until fragrant.
  2. Add oyster sauce, stir until combine evenly.
  3. Add sliced of meatballs, mushrooms, stir until combine evenly.
  4. Add all of vegetables and stir fry until vegetables withered.
  5. Pour water, and simmer until water boil and pour melt cornstarch, mix until combinen evenly.
  6. Cook until thickened water. Turn of the flame, transfer to plate serving.
  7. Ready to be served when hot.
