Roasted Risotto Sushi Filling Chicken

I got idea to make sushi as nasi bakar (grilled rice). When my kids wanted to eat risotto, so I tried to make sushi with risotto then baked on the roasting pan. Tadaaaa...roasted risotto sushi with filling chicken.





Ingredients :
  • 1 1/2 cup risotto.
  • 1 medium size onion, roughly chopped.
  • 1 garlic, finely chopped.
  • 1 chicken breast.
  • 1 tbsp margarine.
  • Salt or flavor powder to taste.
  • 1/4 tsp saffron.
  • Broth as needed.
  • Nori.
Instruction :
  1. Marinated chicken with garlic paste, salt and ground turmeric. If you want spicy, give chili powder.
  2. Fry chicken until well done and shredded. Set a side.
  3. Heat margarine, sautè onion, garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add saffron and flavor powder or salt.stir until combine evenly.
  5. Add risotto rice, stir and sautè rice with onion.
  6. Pour 2 cups browth and stir until mix well, cook rice until water dries up with low flame.
  7. If you taste but rice is not well done, add again little broth, stir and cook until risotto is well done.
  8. After risotto is well done, let cool in room temperature.
  9. Take a sheet of nori, spread risotto surface of nori and put chicken. Rolls up.
  10. Heat the roasting pand, roast the risotto sushi until you get black spot on the nori and cut. Served with mayonaise or ketchup.
