Minced Beef Lasagna with Homemade Sauce

Lasagna is one of famous Italian Dish. Prepared with minced beef and bolognese sauce and besciamella (white sauce). Bolognese sauce and besciamella, I did homemade.






Ingredients :
  • 500 gr pasta per lasagna
  • 250 gr mozzarella.
Ingredients of Bolognese Sauce :
  • 2 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil. (vegetable oil).
  • 1 medium size red onion, finely chopped.
  • 50 gr celery, finely chopped.
  • 100 gr carrot, grated.
  • 500 gr minced beef.
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 700 ml fresh milk.
  • 500 ml broth / water.
  • 2 large size tomotoes, seeded and finely chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper.
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
  • 1 tsp oregano.
  • 1 tsp basil leaf chopped.
Ingredients of White Sauce (Besciamella) :
  • 100 gr butter.
  • 5 tbsp flour.
  • 750 ml fresh milk.
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg.
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper.
Instruction to prepare Bolognese Sauce :
  1. Melt butter, then sautè red onion, garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add carrot, celery and sautè until wilt.
  3. Add minced beef, stir until bit pale and water dries up.
  4. Pour fresh milk and add ground pepper, nutmeg, oregano and basil leaf. Stir until combine evenly with beef. Cook until milk dries up.
  5. Add tomato and broth, stir until thick and turn off the heat. Set aside. Ready to use.
Instruction to prepare White Sauce (Besciamelle) :
  1. Melt the butter, add flour and stir until combine evenly.
  2. Pour fresh milk gradull while stirring until smooth and no clot.
  3. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir until boil and thick. Set aside, readu to use.
Instruction to prepare Lasagna :
  1. Preheat oven 200°C.
  2. Prepare the resistant heat of glass baking pan and smeared with butter.
  3. Arrange of lasagna pasta, pour 1/3 of bolognese sauce until cover all of lasagna pasta. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
  4. Do the same step such before for second and third layers.
  5. After the third layers, coverd with lasagna pasta, pour with white sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella.
  6. Baked until mature for 30 - 45 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes and cut to served.
