Stick Potato Buns


I made stick potato buns to eat with many kinds soup or minestorne. Usually we eat with baguette, now I made stick buns homemade. To get good buns, usually use bread improver, but I never use it, for me enough with steamed potato.





Ingredients :
  • 300 gr all purpose flour.
  • 100 gr steam potato, mashed.
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1 tbs sugar.
  • 7 gr yeast.
  • 1 egg.
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil.
  • Cold water is required.
Instruction :
  1. Mix flour, potato, salt, sugar, yeast, egg and vegetable oil.
  2. Make a hole in the middle of flour and pour water gradually and knead until smooth.
  3. Shape around and put on the bowl. Coated with wet cloth. 
  4. Let it rest for 1 hour until double wolume than before.
  5. Press the dough and knead once again until runs out the air.
  6. Devide the dough how many pieces and milled with roller pin and shape as you like.
  7. Preheat oven with temperature 180°C. Bake until golden brown and spread with butter / margarine.
  8. Ready to be served with soup or minestrone.
