Creamy Semai

It is Bangla Sweet. Semai is boiled with milk, raisin. They eat for breakfast and morning before pray for Ied. Simple, easy and quick. So creamy.







Ingredients :
  • 50 - 100 gr semai / yellow vermicelli.
  • 300 ml fresh milk.
  • 1 stcik cinnamon.
  • 3 cloves.
  • 2 cardamoms.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • 2 - 3 tbsp sugar.
  • Raisin
Garnish :
  • Mashed almond.
  • Raisin.
Instruction :
  1. Simmer milk, cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms, raisin, salt and sugar with medium/low flame until boiled. Stirring constantly.
  2. Add semai, and boiled until tender and thick.
  3. Transfer to serving small bowl/plate. And sprinkle with mashed almond. Give raisin as garnish.
  4. Ready to be served.
