Boiled Artichoke Garlic Butter

I never eat the artichoke and very curios about how to cook and eat it. One day, I bought 4 pcs artchoke and try to be boiled and eaten with butter garlic sauce. Not bad.

Ingredients :
  • 4 artichoke, peeled until you get white.
  • 2 tbsp butter (I used ghee).
  • 1 cloves garlic, finely chopped (better with garlic paste).
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp salt.
Instruction :
  1. Simmer water and 2 tsp salt with large pan until boil.
  2. A quarter of lemon put into water is being boiled.
  3. Discard the hard petals, until you get the white petals and cut with scissors spiky part of petals.
  4. After water boiled, put artichoke into boil water. Simmer unitl the artichokes are easily pull away of the lower petals. Drained and halved.
  5. Fill small frypan with the ghee and garlic on the low flame, stir until ghee is melted and garlic is golden brown.
  6. Add lemon juice into butter garlic and mix evenly.
  7. To eat, pull the petals off the arthichoke, and dip into butter garlic sauce. The suction and scrape with your teeth. And after all of petals out, scrape by spoon inside of arthichoke with dip into sauce.
  8. Enjoy your artichoke.
