Beef Tounge Rendang is a side dish Minangese (West Sumatera) too. It consists of beef tounge, coconut milk, dried chili paste. Typical Minangese dishes are spicy and coconut milik.
- 500 grs beef tounge, boil until tender and cut.
- 1 tbsp dried chili paste.
- 1 big onion, roughly chopped.
- 1 1/2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste.
- 3 lime leaves.
- 2 cms galangal, crushed.
- 200 ml of coconut milk.
- 200 ml broth.
- Sugar and salt as needed.
- Vegetable oil for stir fry.
Instruction :
- Stir fry onion, garlic and ginger paste, dried chili paste, lime leaves, galangal, sugar and salt, until fragrant.
- Add beef tounge and stir until mixture.
- Pour coconut milk, and stir occasionally until coconut milk dried.
- Ready to be served with hot white rice.
