Grilled Catfish with Hot Roasted Coconut

Catfish could not fry (for me), because so much fat on the skin, better grilled or boiled. Better cooked without oil or so little oil. With soft and thick meat, if grilled will be sweet taste.

Ingredients :
  • 2 pieces of catfish.
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric.
  • 2 tsp garlic and ginger paste.
  • 1 lemon juice.
  • Salt as needed.
  • Vinegar as needed.
  • Hot serundeng (roasted coconut) as needed.
Instruction :
  1. Clean fish and rub with salt and vinegar to remove mucus of fish. Let stand for 10 minutes then wash until clean.
  2. Marinated the fish with ground turmeric, garlic and ginger paste, lemon juice and salt. Let stand for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven 180°C. Roll fish with serundeng up and down of fish to cover the entire surface of the fish.
  4. Grilled for 1 hour, and ready to be served.
