Fried Spicy Beef Liver

Sambal goreng hati sapi (fried spicy beef liver) is our cuisine (Indonesian's food). Liver, dice potate, dried red chilies and some spices to make Sambal Goreng. Hati. Not so much spices and yummy.

Ingredients :
  • 400 gr beef liver, diced, washed and drained.
  • 2 medium size potatoes, diced.
  • 50 gr pete (But I don't like it. so I skip)
  • 1 medium size onion.
  • 3 cloves garlic.
  • 2 cm ginger.
  • 2 cm galangal, crushed.
  • 2 tbsp dried chili paste.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 4 lime leaves.
  • 2 tbsp tamarind juice.
  • 1 tsp salt.
  • 2 tsp sugar.
  • Oil for saute.
Instruction :
  1. Pulse the spices such as onion, garlic, ginger until smooth, set aside.
  2. Fry potato until golden brown, set aside.
  3. Preheat oil, saute spices, galangal, bay leaves, lime leaves, salt until fragrant.
  4. Add dried chili paste and saute until fragrant.
  5. Add tamarind juice, sugar, stir until combine evenly.
  6. Add beef liver and pete, stir until cobine evenly. Cook until mature and water dries up.
  7. Add fried potato and stir until combine evenly.
  8. Transfer to serving plate and ready to be served as side dish.
